Ok. So an earlier blog refuses to send. Which means the last one may make no sense to all, what so ever!
I’ve gone to Bonaire, Dutch Antilles, Caribbean. I’m here for one month. Working (as a volunteer) on a parrot conservation project. The Yellow-shouldered parrot to be precise. For a small local charity called Echo.
I arrived here Thursday eve. Exiting the aircraft in to fabulous heat and palm trees! On the way to Dos Pos, the project base camp, I saw a land crab crossing the road, feral donkeys and a White-tailed nightjar took from the road.
Then, whilst sitting eating and getting to know the rest of the team, I watched a largish pale coloured bat fly through the cabin, making the most of the insects attractive by the light bulbs. I’m happy to be here.
